Concert Music and Sustainability, a tribute for Amazonia

Concert combining music and science communication to raise awareness about the preservation of Amazonia.
Conservatory of Liceu, Barcelona, Spain, April 7, 2025.

For Liceu Conservatory Foundation, Barcelona, Catalonia

As part of the Liceu Cambra cycle, organized by the Conservatori Liceu Foundation (Barcelona) in collaboration with Casa Amèrica catalonia, a concert was held dedicated to the preservation of Amazonia, a rich and fragile ecosystem that is essential both for the peoples who inhabit it and for global climate balance.

The event featured the participation of Natalia Figueredo, architect, urban planner, and science communicator, who shared a reflection on the importance of protecting Amazonia and its cultures. Through music and scientific mediation, a clear and urgent message was conveyed about the need to promote sustainable relationships between human societies and ecosystems, in line with the values of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

More than a musical performance, the initiative aimed to raise collective awareness and encourage reflection on the shared responsibility of preserving Amazonian territories and the forms of life that sustain them.
